Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 17, 2026
Rocket Labs LLC (“Rocket Labs”, “we”, or “us”) operates the website tryseedwise.com and the Seedwise mobile application (together, the “Services”). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Services.
Information We Collect
- Account information. Your name and email address, collected through our authentication provider when you create an account. We also store an internal user identifier that links your account to your data.
- Financial inputs you enter. Values such as age, income, current savings, monthly investment amounts, goals, and monthly check-in entries. We treat this information as sensitive. It is used solely to generate your personal simulation and plan. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than powering the Services for you.
- Usage data. Events such as which screens you visit and which features you use. Before you sign in, these events are pseudonymous; after you sign in they are linked to your account so we can debug issues specific to your plan.
- Device information. Device type, operating system version, and app version. We do not use the Apple IDFA and we do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- Generate and update your personalized financial trajectory
- Respond to support requests and communications
- Analyze usage patterns to improve Seedwise
- Send you product updates you have opted in to receive
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of named third-party providers. Each receives only the information necessary for its function, and each is bound by its own privacy policy.
- Auth0 by Okta — authentication. Stores your email, name, and authentication identifier. Policy.
- PostHog — product analytics. Receives pseudonymous product-interaction events; once you sign in, those events are associated with your account identifier. Policy.
- Railway — application hosting and database infrastructure. Stores your account and financial-input data on servers located in the United States. Policy.
- Apple — when you enable notifications, Apple Push Notification service receives an anonymous device token used to deliver messages. We do not send personal information in notification payloads. Policy.
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in the U.S.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide the Services. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the Seedwise app under Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, scenarios, check-ins, and all financial inputs from our production systems, and also removes your identity record from our authentication provider. You may also request deletion by emailing support@rocket-labs.dev; we will complete the request within 30 days. Encrypted infrastructure backups are retained on a rolling basis and expire within 30 days of deletion.
Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal information, and opt out of marketing communications, at any time. Use the in-app deletion flow described above, or email support@rocket-labs.dev.
California residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to request deletion of it, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your California rights, email support@rocket-labs.dev.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information in transit and at rest, including TLS encryption for all network traffic and encrypted storage for databases. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version with an updated effective date and, where practical, notify account holders through the app or by email.
